How do I sign up for Plus Student?

Simply visit your local Waterstones and present your valid student ID. As soon as we have verified your status, you will be sent an activation email which will enable you to redeem your earned Plus Balance. Alternatively, you can initially sign up online at Waterstones.com, start earning Plus Stamps right away and visit your local Waterstones at your leisure to present your student ID. As soon as you have clicked the link in your activation email, digital Plus Student holders can start earning 5% off online, too!

I have a Unidays code. Can I use this in conjunction with Waterstones Plus or Student Plus?

No, unfortunately you cannot use your Unidays code if you have a Plus card linked to your Waterstones account.

Will I need to renew my Plus Student card?

Your Plus Student card is valid for 36 months from sign up, after which time its functionality will assume the same as a standard Plus card. To continue with your student status, please present valid student ID for the applicable year.
