A complete watering kit for greenhouses up to 6ft x 8ft, this WaterMate Automatic Watering Kit uses a combination of timers and sensors to ensure your plants receive the right amount of water – so they are never under or over watered.

Choose the kit to suit your source of water – either your mains water connected to the system via a hosepipe, or from a pumped supply, such as a water butt (included with this kit is a mini submersible pump).

Also select the kit to suit your source of power – either mains electricity or where this isn’t available (at an allotment for example) then choose a solar powered kit (included with this version is a solar panel).

This ‘smart’, automatic watering kit is WiFi enabled allowing you to control it via the internet (with a web app for Android and iPhone) or it can be run without this. When using WiFi you’ll receive email alerts for high/low temperatures, letting you know when the system is watering and if your source of water is empty – if you were running it from a water butt for example.

This ‘smart’ irrigation system is ideal for watering greenhouses up to 6ft x 8ft, as well as grow houses, cold frames, or even potted plants outdoors. With each kit enabling you to set two separate watering zones which you can operate via the web app (or without if preferred) and uses both the current temperature together with timers for precise water control. The kit can be used to water plants at ground level with individual drippers or cover an area of 6 square metres using the spray nozzles included. The WaterMate is compatible with industry standard irrigation fittings allowing you to add more drippers, etc. as you see fit.

Choose your kit based on your power source and choice of water supply:

Power Source – this could be 240v mains supply (with 5 metres of mains cable) or 100% solar powered (with 3 metres of cable).

Water Supply – from your mains water, connected via a hosepipe or from a pressurised, high flow rate, pumped supply (with this kit you receive a mini submersible pump, 4.5cm in diameter).

Each watering kit includes:

WaterMate Control Unit – approx. 19cm x 12cm x 4.5cm

Solar Panel or Power Supply Connection – depending on which kit you choose

Mini Submersible Pump – approx. 4.5cm in diameter, this is included with the kits for a pumped source of water

Temperature Sensor – measures air temperature

Dual Electric Water Valves

13mm Braided Hose – a 4 metre length for connecting to the pump

Distribution Pipe – a 10 metre length of LDPE pipe to carry the water around the area being watered

10 Pipe Fixings – designed to make it easy to fix the pipe to the frame of your greenhouse

Joints & Fittings – a selection of fittings are included to work with the distribution pipe, elbows, T’s and straight connectors so you can create the perfect layout for your area

4mm Micro Irrigation Pipe – 20 metres, used to take water from the distribution pipe to the individual plants / pots and is what the strippers connect to

4mm Hose Adaptors – 12 included

24 Pressure Compensated Drippers with Ground Stakes – set to drip 4 litres of water per hour

20 Spray Nozzles – you receive ten 180 degree and ten 360 degree sprayers which can each cover a 1 metre squared area

6 Water Taps – to fit into the 4mm pipe to allow you to stop water flow when required

Web App – suitable for use with Android and iPhone
