Blackjack Remastered Game Overview 

The bet sizes available in Blackjack Remastered start from £1.

How To Play 

In any Blackjack game, the aim is to and beat the dealer by accumulating a total hand value close to, but not over 21 points. 

You will need to draw cards until your hand either totals 21, or gets as near to it as possible without going over it.

Should the first two cards total 21, an Ace paired with a 10 or picture card, then you win Blackjack. 

If you elect to stand then you receive no further cards.

Any hand that exceeds 21 goes bust, and regardless of what the dealer holds you will lose the hand.

The dealer must draw on 16 and under, and on 17 and above they will always stand.

If the dealer’s hand totals the same as yours, then the hand is a ‘push’, and your stake is returned.

Blackjack beats non-Blackjack 21’s. 

An Ace may have a value of either 1 or 11, and you decide the value based on what would be most beneficial to your hand.

The cards 2-9 are taken at face value, whilst the 10, Jack, Queen and King are all valued at 10.  

Splitting

If you receive two cards of the same value, you will have the option to split your hand, which will divide your hand into two hands. 

When splitting, you must place a bet on the second hand that is equal to the amount wagered on the original bet. 

If Aces are split, and then a card with a value of 10 is drawn, this will not be counted as Blackjack. This hand will have a value of 21, but will lose to the dealer if they draw Blackjack. 

In Blackjack Remastered, you have the option to split your hand three times, allowing for a total of four hands. However, Aces can only be split once. 

Double Down 

This allows you to double your original bet, though you will only receive one extra card after doubling.

You have the option to be dealt your card either face up or face down. 

In Blackjack Remastered, you have the option to double down on any two cards, regardless of their total, plus you get the chance to double down once you've split your original hand.

Insurance 

You can protect your hand by buying insurance if the dealer’s first card is an Ace, and this costs half of your original wager. 

If the dealer draws Blackjack, you lose your original bet but the insurance will pay out at 2:1. 

However, if the dealer does not have Blackjack, your insurance bet is lost and the hand proceeds as normal.

Surrender 

The surrender option gives the you the chance to walk away from your hand after it has been dealt. 

If you take this option up, you lose half of your original wager.

· Dealer peaks on 10 value cards and Aces

· Eight Decks

· Dealer stands on soft 17

· Double Down on any two cards

· Double down after splitting

· Split three times to make four hands

· Aces can only be split once

· Only one card dealt to split Aces

· Split Aces do not award Blackjack

· Late surrender is allowed

· Malfunction voids all pays and plays

The expected return is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game. 

For example, if we take £100 of wagers we will, on average, pay out £99.64. 

This return is based on the player making the best choices.
